India One more arrested in triple murder case
Police arrested a realtor on charge of masterminding the triple murder that shook the city last month. In a new twist to the sensational case, in which interior decorator Rahul Das, his wife Pushpalatha and their 8 year-old daughter were murdered, Ramesh, a family friend, allegedly had illicit relationship with the Rahul's wife. He had given 'supari' to Raul's driver to get the latter killed. DCP(East) Chandrashekar said Ramesh(45) had sent Rahul's car driver Lokesh, whom he had hired, to kill the person by giving a 'supari'. After Das was killed, the woman and daughter, who returned home were also smothered. Police had arrested Lokesh and his two friends on charge of committing the murder. During interrogation, he revealed that Ramesh had masterminded the killings and had given him a 'supari' for Rs 3 lakh. Ramesh also asked him to take away the gold in the house to cover up the crime. They arrested Ramesh yesterday and interrogated him. With this, four persons have been arrested in the case. -- (UNI) -- 04MS49.xml
