India 10 Lankan fishermen arrested, boats impounded
Ten Sri Lankan fishermen were arrested by the Coast Guard authorities for trangressing into the Indian territory late last night. Police sources said the fishermen, were fishing in two boats towards east of Nagapattinam coast, when they were arrested by the Coast Guard authorities. They were brought here and handed over to the city police, which arrested them. They were later remanded in judicial custody. Their boats were also impounded. -- (UNI) -- 04MS4.xml
