India HM reviews security situation in AP
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister P Sabita Reddy today held a high-level meeting to review the security situation in the State. The meeting, attended by Director General of Police R R Girish Kumar and Additional DGP A K Khan, discussed various steps to curb naxalism, among other issues, official sources said. The meeting assumed significance in the wake of the Centre announcing the ''Operation Green Hunt'' to tackle the vexed Left-Wing Extremism.
