India Sonu takes lead in putting up song in memory of 26/11 victims
Popular Singer Sonu Nigam has taken the lead, on behalf of Bollywood, in dedicating a song in memory of those who died in the 26/11 attack on the Metropolis. Several Singers participated in the song, to lend it a spirit of togetherness and strength at a recording studio in the city yesterday. Bollywood Thespian Amitabh Bachchan also lent his voice, figuratively and otherwise, to the cause of the 26/11 tragedy. ''We have faith in our Independence and love for those that became ours in defending our freedom. I am joyed by the effort and gave voice to it'', the actor said. Sonu Nigam said he was touched that the Singers had responded to his call for participating in a song, that he was doing for 'those whom we lost that fateful day last year'. The song will be aired on all channels and in multiplexes and cinema houses all over the country.
