Wipro leader among Oracle services providers: Study

Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited, has been cited by Forrester Research, Inc, an independent research firm, as a leader among Oracle Services Providers.

Forrester evaluated 14 global vendors providing Oracle services across 60 criteria. The report notes that ''Wipro is strongest at the technical elements of Oracle implementations, but through Wipro Consulting, it also has a growing focus on process and transformational consulting,'' according to a release here today.

Elaborating on the strategy of Wipros Oracle practice, Langbert Walker, Global Head, Oracle Practice, Wipro Technologies, said ''this recognition by Forrester reflects our position as a leader in the Oracle services space. Our strategic investments in building deep industry expertise and process capabilities have been instrumental in our success.'' The strategic co-development initiative with Oracle was highlighted in the report as ''Wipro co-innovates with Oracle and has signed a master services agreement (MSA) to co develop AIA solutions''.
