Judge resigns

Kerala High Court Judge Justice V Giri resigned today.

In his resignation letter addressed to President of India, he cited personel reasons for his decision.

The High Court registry also confirmed that the copy of the resignation letter was received by the Chief Justice.

This is the first time a permanent Judge of Kerala High Court had resigned.

Earlier, Justice K P Dandapani had resigned as provisonal Judge of Kerala High Court in 1996.
