Trains to halt for five minutes at Chengannur

To facilitate large number of Sabarimala pilgrims to alight at Chengannur station, the following trains will be provided a temporary stoppage of five minutes at this railway station from November 15 this year to January 20 next. T No 2697 Chennai Central-Trivandrum Express and T No 2698 Trivandrum-Chennai Central Express.

The stoppage timings of the following trains will be increased from one minute to five minutes at Chengannur railway station from November 15 to January 20. T No 2625 Trivandrum-New Delhi Express, T No 6525 Kanniyakumari Bangalore Express, T No 7229 Trivandrum-Hyderabad Express, T No 2624 Trivandrum-Chennai Central Mail, T No 6629 Trivandrum-Mangalore Express and T No 6347 Trivandrum-Mangalore Express.

With effect from today, T No 2670 Chhapra-Chennai Central Ganga Kaveri Express will leave Chhapra on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2100 hrs instead of 1600 hrs and arrive Chennai Central on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1425 hrs instead of 0950 hrs, a Railway release said.
