Arnab Nandy retains leadership for Bengal vs Hyderabad

Arnab Nandy retained captaincy for Bengal as CAB announced a 15-member squad for Under-22 Col C K Nayudu Trophy against Hyderabad beginning here November 4.

Nandy retained his leadership despite return of Shreevats Goswami, who was with Bengal senior side in the T-20 at Dhanbad during second U-22 match against Uttar Pradesh after leading the side in the opening versus Punjab where Bengal lost.

Bengal drew the second tie against UP after conceding the first Innings lead. Since Goswami was dropped from senior Bengal Ranji squad against Maharastra, the wicket-keeper batsman was recalled for the young side against Hyderabad in the 4-day tie to be played at Jadavpur University's Salt Lake campus from Wednesday.

The squad: Arnab Ganguly (Capt), Shreevats Goswami, Rohan Banerjee, Writam Porel, Debapriya ghosh, Sufian Khan, Sayan Sarkar Mandol, Jayajit Basu, Nilkhanta Das, Md Ashrafuddin, Azaz Ansari, Soumya Parkay, Amit banerjee, Pankaj singh and Anup Barik.
