Saregama acquires India rights for Rahman's 'Couples' Retreat' OST

Leading music company Saregama India has acquired rights of music maestro A R Rahman's Original Sound Track in the movie ''Couples Retreat'' for the Indian market.

The Vince Vaughn starrer romcom is Rahman's first international project post the multiple Oscar winning ''Slumdog Millionaire''. The soundtrack, which includes operatic and reggae influenced tracks is expected to hit the shelves in India in November-two months before the film's release in January 2010, a release issued here said.

The film, which has released in the international markets, has received mixed reviews, unlike the Original Sound Track by Rahman which was largely appreciated, the release said.
