Japanese ships call at Cochin Port

Two Japanese Navy ships ''JDS Hamagiri'' and ''JDS Takanami'', called at the Cochin Port this morning.

The ships are on the port on their way to Gulf of Eden on an anti-piracy mission, according to an official press release here today.

Captain Yasuki Nakahata called on Chief of Staff of the Naval Command Rear Admiral S S Jamwal, the release added. The ships left for their destination later in the evening.
