India Jogi flays Raman for his foreign tour
Former chief minister of Chhattisgarh Ajit Jogi today came down heavily on Chief Minister Raman Singh for undertaking a 10-day foreign tour at a time when the centre was geared up to launch a joint anti-naxal operation from Chhattisgarh, the hub of Maoist acitivites in the country. ''I am not against the Chief Minister's foreign tour, but it was not an appropriate time to undertake such a long tour,'' Mr Jogi said in a statement here. The veteran Congress leader also criticised the Chief Minister for moving around South Africa to see its progress and development projects at a time when incidents of naxal violence were being reported in the state everyday.
