India Chong Wei begins campaign in style
Top seed Chong Wei Lee of Malaysia began his campaign for the Men's singles title in style disposing off unseeded Ola Fagbemi 21-11, 21-14 in just 21 minutes in the BWG World Badminton Championships 2009 at SAAP Indoor stadium at Gatchibowli here today. Chong, who is the defending champion, was never troubled by the little known Nigerian player, who could not match the Malaysian's repertoire. Chong took the first game 21-11 easily with an array of shots. In the second game the Nigerian tried to change his strategy playing an attacking game. But he could not stop the No.1 seed from wrapping up the match 21-14.
