India Dishtv launches interactive services
Dishtv, a direct-to-home services provider, today announced the launch of 'Life Services', a convergence of TV and Internet to be offered to all levels of its subscribers free of cost. Speaking at a press conference, Dishtv Chief Operating Officer Salil Kapoor said providing internet services on TV to reach out to masses across the country was surely an effective way to enable anytime access to life services like travel, job search and matrimony. ''These life services offer huge benefit to our 5.5 million Dishtv subscribers. The content on the Internet would be loaded on the back end which is constantly updated.
