India WWE superstar Kane hails Khali as ''great asset'' to India
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Kane was all praise for the Great Khali and said the Indian wrestler has been a great asset to the country, who has raised the craze for the professional game among the countrymen. ''Khali is a great asset to the country. He is really great in WWE. ''He is really big, strong,'' the seven-feet monster, who was here for a promotional event for Ten Sports, told mediapersons here today. Ever since he made his apperance in Smackdown and Raw, the former WWE champion has been tormenting his rivals in the ring, but Kane rates Stone Cold Steve Austin in the WWE arena as one of the greatest opponent. He also added Shawn Michaels, Rock, HHH and Undertaker in the list of his favourites oppoenents. When asked about his relation with the Undertaker in and off the ring, the heavy weight wrestler said, ''You have to be two different person in and off the ring. But I am the same person since I began my journey in professional wrestling. ''He (Undertaker) has been a great support for me in my career. He has played a big role in my growth to this level,'' he added. Having remained one of the best basketball players in his college days, Kane said the opportunities in the professional wrestling did divert his interest. ''I got the opportunity to persue WWE, persue entertainment and I felt I could achieve success in this arena,'' said the 42-year-old, who is on a three-day tour to India. He concurred saying that if given an oppotunity, he would look forward to promote professional wrestling in India.
