British ICT mission in Kolkata
Kolkata | Saturday, Jan 10 2009 IST

A British Information and Communication Technology (ICT) mission will arrive here on January 12 to look for business opportunities in West Bengal.

The nine-member mission from the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, the first UK ICT business delegation to the city, will meet a host of local businesses and educational institutions till January 15.

The delegation is keen on forging linkages between Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, the university's trading arm, with universities and business schools in the city.

They will also meet local chambers of commerce to explore the possibility of jointly bidding for EU funded projects in the ICT arena.
