Devotees in long queues faced with difficulties after the mela and district authorities flouted 'rule of equality' to favour VIPs at the Vindhyachal Navratra Mela here. The indifferent attitude of the officials has, however, created a furore among the devouts. When everyone is equal in God's home, then why a special treatment to the VIPs, questions a devotee. As per sources, the district administration had claimed that the comman men would not face the brunt, if any politician comes to pay obeisance during the Mela. Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had thronged the mela for 'Darshan Pujan' along with his family a couple of days back, while state Advisory Council Chairman Satish Chandra Mishra had visited the place with his family members yesterday. -- (UNI) -- 06DR60.xml
