Opulent Auto inks pact with Hindustan Motors

The Pune-based Opulent Auto Care Private Limited today inked a pact with Hindustan Motors Limited to provide the latters Mitsubhishi vehicles with high-quality vehicle care products to combat corrosion, weather damage and solar radiation.

The three-year after-sales contract with Mitsubhishi was valued at Rs four crore and would be executed in three phases.

Opulent products (Waxoyl and Huper Optik) offer better longevity, and has on offer the worlds first solar control window films which cuts 99 per cent UV rays, 70 per cent solar energy and were 100 per cent dye and metal free.

All these help enormously in increasing the resale value of the car and comfort. Under the agreement, Opulent would treat about 7,000 cars annually for the Mitsubishi brand and the products would also be available at workshop levels, Opulent Managing Director S Sathyaprakash told newspersons, here today. Implementation would commence with South India in the first phase before moving on to West and North East India in the second phase.

The third phase would cover all Tier-III cities.

This contract was expected to increase Opulents turnover by 25 per cent, from its present level of Rs 11 crore.
