Khaleel keen likely to play in IPL Sirsa | Kamis, Sep 11 2008 IST
Former Pakistan cricketer Mohd Khaleel may play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. Khaleel is a member of the Lahore Lions team which is taking part in the Jannayak Ch Devi Lal International Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament being played at the CDL National Cricket Academy here. Lions have qualified for the semi-finals and today was a rest day for the visitors from Pakistan. Talking to UNI here today, Khaleel said,''I am available to play in the IPL.'' Asked whether he had received any offer from Board of Control for Cricket in India sponsored IPL or the Inder Cricket League, he said ''If I get an opportunity, he would play in the BCCI Indian Premier League.''
