Mild earthquake strikes West Bengal Kolkata | July 06, 2008 9:41:48 AM IST
A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Open-ended Richter Scale struck West Bengal late on Saturday night. Meteorological Department sources said that the quake struck at 10.26 p.m. and was its epicenter was located at Latitude 24.4 deg N and Longitude 88.5 deg E. There were no reports of damage to property or loss of life. (ANI)
