12 AEEs promoted, more than 30 others transferred in J and K Srinagar | Sunday, May 18 2008 IST
Jammu and Kashmir government has promoted 12 Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and transferred more than 30 other senior engineers in the Public Health Engineering (PHE), flood control and irrigation departments. An official spokesman said the AEEs were promoted as Executive Engineers in their own pay and grade for a period of six months on a temporary basis against available vacancies. Those promoted included Mushtaq Ahmad Baig, Vinod Kumar, Mukesh Anand, Ashok Kumar Pradan, Surinder Singh, Sukhdev Singh Samotra, Sushil Aima, Ramesh Kak, Shesh Kumar Sharma, Raju Kumar Gandotra, Vinod Kumar Pandita and Abdul Gani Khan. He said consequent upon these promotions, the government ordered transfers and postings of more than 30 senior engineers, including those who were promoted. -- (UNI) -- 18DR16.xml
