Angadiya employees robbed of Rs one lakh cash in Surat Surat | Thursday, May 15 2008 IST
Two employees of an angadiya company were robbed of around Rs one lakh and one of them was injured in a knife atttack by three unidentified motorbike-borne men in Sadar complex near Udhna industrial area here today. According to police, the manager of the company, Nasib Thakor, and another employee, Ranbir, were sitting in the office in the evening, when two of three men entered the office at around 1800 hrs. They demanded to hand over the cash to them. When Thakor declined, the duo allegedly attacked and injured him with knife. Later, they fled with around Rs one lakh cash on the waiting motorbike. Thakor was admitted to civil hospital here. Police suspects an insider's role in the loot. Police are questioning Ranbir, who had joined the company only four day ago.
