Jute mill manager murdered

The personnel manager of a jute mill of Loomtex Engineering Pvt Ltd was today allegedly lynched by some people near Titagarh under Khardah Police Station. Police here said the victim was murdered following a trouble in connection with a gate meeting of a workers' union. A few workers rushed him to the Balaram State General Hospital, where the hospital authorities declared the victim brought dead. This was the second such incident after the killing of a couple of managers - Jagadamba Prasad and Gautam Ghosh - of Baranagar Jute mill a few years back. -- (UNI) -- 15CA45.xml
