Case against former Minister ''mistake of fact'' Kochi | Thursday, May 15 2008 IST
Kerala police informed a lower court here today that a case of forgery and benami land transactions charged against former PWD Minister T U Kuruvilla was a ''mistake of fact''. In a report filed in the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate's court, the police said that the Kadvanathara police station had earlier registered a case agianst Mr Kuruvilla on a private complaint by NRI businessman K G Abraham, alleging that the Minister and his son were trying to cheat him by selling government land on the basis of forged documents.
