SKS Microfinance gets ISO

SKS Microfinance has become the first micro finance institution in the world to get ISO certification for its 200-plus strong 'Internal Audit Department,' the company claimed today. The ISO 9001:2000 certification has been awarded by leading certifying body RINA. SKS Microfinance COO M R Rao, in a statement today, said 'SKS conducts rigorous audits every month across its 800-plus offices across the country.
