Bomb scare at Mumbai international airport Mumbai | Thursday, May 15 2008 IST
An annonymous phone call, saying a bomb had been planted in the premises of Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport at Sahar here today, turned out to be a hoax after a thorough search by the authorities. According to sources, the airport authorities received a call about a bomb being planted in the airport premises at around 1500 hrs, Immediately the security agencies swung into action and evacuated the area. A bomb disposal squad and a dog squad was summoned and they searched the premises thoroughly, only to find that it was a hoax.
