14 IPS officers transferred in UP

The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 14 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers tonight.

DIG, Kanpur range, Brajbhushan has been transferred to Alipur range on same post while Krishna Mohan Pandey, DIG, PTC, Muradabad sector has been transferred to PAC, Muradabad sector, Home Department sources said.

Mr Amit Chandra, Superintendent of Police (SP), Lalitpur has been appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Saharanpur while Mr Alok Singh, who was posted at 32 PAC, Lucknow has been given new charge as SSP, Meerut, they added.
