Film Producer released on bail Hyderabad | Friday, May 9 2008 IST
Telugu Film Producer Abhinav Reddy, who surrendered before the city police yesterday, was released on bail after he was produced in a local court today. Mr Abhinav, who had alleged contacts with the Mafia don Chota Rajan's close aide Aziz Reddy, killed in an alleged police encounter recently, was released on conditional bail. Nikhil Reddy, also a film producer, had recently complained to the police that Mr Abhinav, hired Aziz Reddy to settle monetory dispute with him, invested in a film, which was yet to be released. Mr Nikhil also complained that Mr Abhinav, his co-producer ransacked his office after the death of Mr Aziz. Mr Abhinav denied the allegation that he had hired Mr Aziz and said neither the film was completed, nor the money paid even after the deadline. -- (UNI) -- 09MS59.xml
