APCC asks party MPs to concentrate on bypolls Hyderabad | Friday, May 9 2008 IST
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today called upon their MPs belonging to Telangana region to participate in the ensuing bypolls and work hard for the success of the party candidates. Talking to newspersons here, PCC President D Srinivas said Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had asked the party MPs to campaign for the bypoll, scheduled on May 29. He said the party MPs had assured Dr Reddy that they would strive hard for the candidates in the poll and some of them had already started working in their respective constituencies. Stating that the feedback from the constituencies was encouraging, Mr Srinivas claimed that the Congress would win the bypoll with an absolute majority. -- (UNI) -- 09MS55.xml
