Smuggler commits suicide Lucknow | Friday, May 9 2008 IST
A smuggler allegedly committed suicide at the Narcotics Bureau office here today. On written information by Intelligence Officer (Narcotics Bureau) S K Singh, a raid was conducted in Barabanki's Kotwali area yesterday and one Madan Singh Verma arrested. About 950 gm heroin was seized from his possession, police said, adding, after which he was brought to the Narcotics Bureau office in the state capital for inquiry. However, this morning he was found hanging from the ceiling. Meanwhile, the deceased's family has got a case registered against the Bureau's Commissioner and other workers. -- (UNI) -- 09DR57.xml
