'Mumbai Cutting' to close IFFLA Film fest Mumbai | Friday, Apr 11 2008 IST
''Mumbai Cutting'', a concept film, made with collaborative efforts of the country's eleven film directors and the same number of music directors has been selected for the closing night screening of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) in Los Angeles on April 27. With a cast of Soha Ali Khan, Jimmy Shergil and Sonali Kulkarni, the film unravels the multi-faceted avatars of the metropolis that is legendary for absorbing new cultures and merging them into its own. The directors involved in making the film include Sudhir Mishra, Rahul Dholakia, Anurag Kashyap, Ruchi Narain and Jahanu Barua. The music of the film is contributed by the likes of Euphoria, Indian Ocean, Nachiketa, Papon and Ali Azmat. ''We are looking at promoting Indian talent globally with cutting edge concepts in cinema.
