US student commits suicide in Pondy

A student from the United States allegedly committed suicide at Auroville here today. Police said Shermen Catherine Elizabeth (22), an ecology student, came to Auroville along with 25 students by January end. Her body was found hanging in her cottage. Later, the body was removed to Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences for post-mortem, police added. -- (UNI) -- 21MS60.xml
