Central Railway to operate mega block on April one Mumbai | March 31, 2007 5:37:57 AM IST
The Central Railway will operate a Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on April one. All Dn Harbour line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel from 0950 hrs to 1540 will remain cancelled, while all Up Harbour line services for CST leaving Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1007 hrs to 1553 hrs will remain cancelled, an official release issued here today said. However, special locals will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus - Kurla - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Panvel-Vashi-Panvel sections at a frequency of around 20 to 25 minutes on Harbour line during the block period. Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri and back will run as per schedule on April one, the release added. On the main line Dn Fast line services leaving CST 0830 hrs to 1345 pm will be diverted on Dn slow line between Thane & Kalyan stations and will halt at all stations between Thane & Kalyan, the release added.
