One stabbed to death and two injured in a quarrel Anand | February 21, 2007 3:43:15 PM IST
Police today arrested two persons for allegedly killing one person and injuring two others, following a quarrel in Anand town. A quarrel had erupted between Bharatbhai Prajapati, a snack stall owner and two of his customers last night, after they refused to pay for the snacks they had eaten, police said. Two of Bharatbhai's friends, who intervened was attacked by the duo in which Jagdish Vaghri was stabbed several times and he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, police added. Both the injured Bharatbhai and Niel Vasant Patel have been admitted in a city hospital. Anand Police has arrested the accused - Devang Suresh and Rinku Surendra Gill - and has registered a case of murder against them. UNI RP/PVN MJ AG1511
