The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, (IIMB) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, will ink a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for creating opportunities in the cross-cultural learning of business and management. ''The broad goals of the Stanford-IIMB Exchange Programme (SIEP) are to foster strong ties between students of both the Institutes through exchange of programmes and a related 'buddy system', promote interests of both the schools in the United States and India besides creating unique cross-cultural opportunities for students to learn about business practices in both the countries,'' a release said here yesterday. Stanford University Senior Associate Dean Prof John Roberts and Prof V Srinivasan, Adams distinguished Professor of Management Graduates School of Business and IIMB Director Prof Prakash G Apte and IIMB Student Exchange Programme Chairperson Prof G Shainesh would sign the MoU here on January 5.
