Bhairon Singh Shekhawat arrives in Yavatmal Nagpur | November 26, 2006 12:42:47 AM IST
Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat arrived at Yavatmal in Vidarbha region this evening on a two-day visit to the city. Mr Shekhawat reached Nagpur from New Delhi by a special IAF aircraft today. He was received at the airport by Maharashtra Minister for Public Works Anil Deshmukh and senior government officials, according to an official press release here. The Vice President later left for Yavatmal by helicopter. Mr Shekhawat is scheduled to attend various programmes in Yavatmal today and tomorrow, including the golden jubilee celebrations of a private college there. The Vice President will return to Nagpur from Yavatmal by helicopter tomorrow afternoon, and leave for New Delhi by a special IAF aircraft the same day. UNI AB MAZ LL ND2246
