Pondy CM creates history Pondicherry | May 12, 2006 1:35:33 PM IST
Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today created history in this election by winning his Thattanchavady seat by a record margin.He won the seat by a margin of 28,753 votes. The people of his constituency returned him with the thumping majority upholding his reputation as people's Chief Minister whose simplicity and ardent desire to solve people's problems is well known. As a Chief Minister, Mr Rangasamy invested huge efforts in his constituency's development and the results are there for everyone to see today. Mr Rangasamy thanked the people of his constituency for the overwhelming support. Meanwhile, PMC President P Kannan who suffered defeat at Mudaliarpet, in a release here, said he accepted the verdict given by the people of the constituency. UNI PAB GM Mir KN2103
