BJP senior leader L K Advani will campaign for the party in West Bengal on April 23 and in Tamil Nadu on April 24, BJP former President M Venkaiah Naidu said today.Taking a break from his Bharat Suraksha Yatra, the former Deputy Prime Minister would kick off his poll campaign in Tamil Nadu from the industrial town of Hosur, Mr Naidu told reporters here. Senior BJP leaders would simultaneously begin campaign from six places in the state where it was contesting on its own in most seats. The BJP had aligned with the AIADMK and DMK alternately in Tamil Nadu in the past to improve its position in the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, Mr Advani, speaking to the press here, said the lot of Muslims was far better in Gujarat than in other states. ''In the whole country, the per capita income of Muslism is highest in Gujarat,'' he said. Transparency and efficiency of the Narender Modi government was responsible for it, he said, adding impressive victories by the BJP in elections including municipality and panchayat proved this.
