DTTMK to support DMK in Assembly polls Chennai | April 19, 2006 11:13:20 AM IST
The Dravida Tamil Telugu Munnetra Kazhagam (DTTMK) today pledged support to the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) in the May 8 Assembly elections.DTTMK founder President G Kamatchi Naidu, accompanied by General Secretary N Kandasamy and other office bearers, called on DMK president M Karunanidhi at Anna Arivalayam and offered unconditional support to the DPA. The party's executive which met here yesterday decided to support the the DMK-led DPA and authorised Mr Kamatchi to give a letter to this effect to the DMK president, a party release here said.
