Britney's mother wants her to wed Jason
London |Sunday, 2009 1:35:05 PM IST

Britney Spears' mother Lynne says she is desperate for her daughter to walk down the aisle with boyfriend Jason Trawick because he is the "dream" husband.

Thesun.co.uk reports that after Britney's two failed marriages, Lynne is hoping her daughter's romance with Jason lasts because he supported her through bad times.

"He's the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he's stable... Everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney's life. He's very protective of her," said Lynne.

And she's not the only person close to the singer who thinks Jason is a good influence. Britney's friends are pleased about the relationship as well.

"She has been honest with Jason about what she's been through in a way that I don't think she's been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her. He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions," said a friend.

It will be Britney's third marriage if they do decide to tie the knot.

She wed high school sweetheart Jason Alexander in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony in Las Vegas in January 2004, but it was annulled 55 hours later. Britney's divorce from Kevin Federline was finalised in 2007 after two years of marriage.
