Ghana hosts United Nations conference

International leaders convened in Ghana's capital of Accra Monday for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. The conference's theme is Addressing the opportunities and challenges of globalization for development, the Accra Mail reported. Sub-themes include reductions of poverty through global policies, trade and development, the environment and production, and strengthening the organization. (UPI)
