Islamabad | Wednesday, May 14 2008 IST

Pakistan are all set to renew its rivalry with India when the cross-border neighbour come visiting early next year, PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf said. ''The Indian board has agreed to a series starting January 2009,'' Ashraf told mediapersons after chairing a meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) governing here yesterday.

''A final itinerary will be announced after mutual agreement,'' said Ashraf. The tour will consist of three Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches. This will be the fifth series between the arch-rivals since bilateral ties were restored in 2004.
