President to perform ''bhoomipujan of Charkop-Mankhurd Metro project

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will perform the ''bhoomipujan'' of Charkop-Bandra-Mankhurd Metro Rail Project in suburban Bandra here tomorrow. Maharashtra Governor S C Jamir will preside over the ceremony, an official release said here today. Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, Union Minister of Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy, Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Gurudas Kamat, Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Chairman of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd Anil Ambani and other eminent people will be present on the occasion, the release added. -- (UNI) -- 17BY5.xml
