World Nepalese PM meets President, Dahal to end Parliament deadlock
Nepalese Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has met President Ram Baran Yadav and Maoists Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal separately to find out the way for the passage of budgets. The Prime Minister held nearly an hour-long talks with Dr Yadav at his residence in Shital Niwas and discussed the present political crisis due to the threat of the Maoists, which has been obstructing Parliament, barring to pass the annual budget. The Maoists have been demanding the rectification of the President's move not to implement their decision to sack then Army Chief General Rookmangad Katawal and have given ultimatum to the Government. Immediately after meeting the President, Mr Nepal met Mr Dahal at his home in Koteshwor. The Maoists have been demanding the formation of an all party Government under their leadership. Maoist is the biggest party in Parliament, However, the current Government has the support of 22 parties out of 25 represented in Parliament.
