Horse pounds occupied car Philadelphia | May 11, 2008 12:01:13 AM IST
Two women in Philadelphia had a frightening experience Saturday when an escaped horse attacked their car. The horse escaped from a stable in the Germantown neighborhood, WCAU-TV reported. The women were sitting in the car when the spooked animal shattered windows and pounded metal. The women were hospitalized in unknown condition. Emma Woods, a neighborhood resident, said the assault on the car was unbelievable. You would hardly believe a horse did that -- that car was so messed up, she said. The Germantown area, once a rural outpost of Philadelphia, is close to large parks where riding is popular. (UPI)
