Hakan Sukur is honing the Queen's footie skills!
London | May 17, 2008 3:40:35 PM IST

Queen Elizabeth II ended her state visit to Turkey with a lesson in football from striker Hakan Sukur.

The British monarch met the footballer when he gave a soccer lesson to kids at the British ambassador's home in Ankara.

According to The Sun, after giving a football gift to the kids, the Queen and husband Prince Philip looked on as Foreign Secretary David Miliband joined Sukur for a kickabout with the kids.

She also showed off her skills when she deftly stepped out of the way when the ball was kicked in their direction.

Prince Philip's reaction, however, was to hold up his hands.

The kids got their football back when Turkish Prime Minister Emine Erdogan kicked it back to them. (ANI)
