Sri Lanka's target was reset to 269 runs off 36 overs following rains in the cricket World Cup final against defending champions Australia here Saturday. Rains stopped play with Sri Lanka, chasing Australia's 218 for four in 38 overs, 149 for three wickets in 24.5 overs. At this stage, Sri Lanka needed 133 runs off 79 balls at 10.1 runs per over. But after the interruption, two overs and 13 runs were reduced from the original target of 282. (IANS)
