Cricket-Watson ruled out of Sri Lanka match St George's Grenada | April 16, 2007 6:44:23 AM IST
Injured Australia all-rounder Shane Watson will not play in tomorrow's World Cup Super Eights match against Sri Lanka but is still on course for the final second-round match against New Zealand next Friday. Watson has not played since he left the field with a calf strain in the world champions' Super Eights match against Bangladesh on March 31. ''He won't play tomorrow,'' captain Ricky Ponting told a news conference today. ''He ran yesterday at about 70 percent and he has had a really good net today. ''He's moving very freely in the nets. I think he's on track for things as planned which is hopefully to come back against New Zealand.'' REUTERS PDS VC2351
