Verdict on Woolmer death expected by Apr 30 Kingston | April 14, 2007 1:16:05 PM IST
Assistant manager of the Pakistani World Cup cricket squad, Asad Mustafa has reportedly said that the investigators looking into the mysterious death of Pakistani coach Bob Woolmer would be able to deliver a clear verdict on April 30. "The coroner's inquest will start from April 23 and it is expected to take around a week to complete proceedings and give a final confirmation on how Woolmer had died," the Dawn quoted Asad as saying. Woolmer died in Kingston on March 18, one day after Pakistan were eliminated from the World Cup after losing to Ireland. The Jamaican investigators are treating his death as a murder. Asad said the two Pakistani police investigators, Mir Zubair and Kaleem Imam were holding meetings with the Jamaican and Scotland Yard investigators and getting briefings on the investigations held so far into Woolmer's death.
