Extra ticket sale begins as Indian board cancels tickets for CWC Bridgetown Barbados | April 11, 2007 1:47:01 AM IST
As the BCCI cancelled more than 250 tickets booked for its affiliated unit bosses for the World Cup and hundreds of other Indian fans cancelling tickets of the last leg, the local authorities here have started reselling these tickets through their websites from today. The BCCI block-booked about 300 seats in cruise ships as they have invited two persons from every affiliated units besides its own entire top brass for the semi-final and final. They were supposed to come to the Caribbean by a special chartered flight from Mumbai. The local organisers are worried that these last minute cancellations from India and Bangladesh may prove costly and are advertising through media for these high ends tickets. The organisers are trying to sale the last minute cruise ship tourists as many as six ships are going to dock every alternate day from today at Bridgetown. UNI MT PDS KP1805
