England win toss, opt to bat

England skipper Micheal Vaughan won the toss and decided to bat against Australia in the crucial Super Eight league match of the cricket World Cup here at Sir Vivian Richards ground here today. It was a surprise decision as the teams winning the toss have opted to field first in the five Super Eight league matches played here so far. England and Australia made one change each in their playing XIs. Andrew Strauss replaced Ed Joyce in England side while Brad Hodge was named in place of injured Shane Watson in the Australian team.
